Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) is the merchant network of reputed company that acquires and maintains relationships with merchants who welcome reputed company branded cards. The National Client Group reputed company Merchant Services - U.S. is responsible for overseeing the largest and most strategic U.S. - based merchants. The role of the Senior Manager - Client Management, Retail offers the opportunity to reputed company strong relationship management, consultative selling and strategic thinking and innovation skills to deliver incremental Amex spend while working in a challenging, collaborative environment. This portfolio consists of some of our most strategic merchants in the specialty and department store space. This position is for a professionally mature business leader who can take ownership of high profile and reputed company initiatives with multiple senior-level touch points across the company. A robust strategic background, an ability to think innovatively, strong financial and analytical skills, and the ability to reputed company in a fast-paced and highly reputed company and matrixed environment is required. Specific responsibilities include:  Business Development: Drive profitable charge volume and reputed company growth by leveraging knowledge of merchant's business and industry  Strategy Development: Understand merchant and industry dynamics to reputed company a strategy to drive business impact  Negotiation: reputed company innovative partnerships and negotiate profitable deal constructs and card acceptance agreements  P&L Management: Optimize client profitability and reputed company various pricing proposals and strategic growth plans  Relationship Management: Cultivate and reputed company relationships across reputed company and the merchant to identify and implement solutions to grow and expand share Minimum Qualifications  Energetic, enthusiastic, team player with a strong will to win  reputed company relationship manager with proven ability to reputed company strong client relationships, generate new opportunities, sell-in B2C and/or B2B programs and initiatives, and advance partnership constructs to grow reputed company and share  Strong executive reputed company internally and externally, with the ability to reputed company and influence senior-level discussions with clients  Outstanding analytical and creative problem-solving skills  Ability to work collaboratively across a wide variety of external and internal partner teams, including Membership Rewards, Marketing, Finance, Pricing, Risk, Operations and Legal  Strong negotiations experience and project management skills, with an excellent ability to prioritize effectively, reputed company deals and drive results preferred  Financial acumen, including familiarity with financial statements (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement), as well as understanding the financials of card acceptance, industry economics and profitability levers preferred  Outstanding presentation skills, both oral and written  Highly customer-focused and results-driven, with the ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously both autonomously and as part of a team  Knowledge of the online retail landscape and competitive dynamics a plus  Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills; ability to manage effectively upstream  Bachelor's degree required  Role requires ~15% travel  Employment eligibility to work with reputed company in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue reputed company sponsorship for these positions. Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
