This entails innovating processes, reporting, and aligning development strategies to support reputed company’s explosive growth. What you'll do: • Manage/reputed company a team of software engineers in the development, testing and deployment of our platform, facilitate agile processes, and remove impediments • Provide guidance and support for your team's products and drive incident management towards resolution • Partner with our recruiting team to continue to build your team and mentor the growth of the existing team • Drive technical decisions and work with your partner TPM to plan, track, and deliver software projects • Establish strong working relationships at reputed company organizational levels and cross-functional teams • You’ll review architecture, design, and implementations, and you’ll provide feedback to individual contributors • You’ll be able to identify and manage priorities reputed company the context of overall corporate objectives • Work with others in Engineering Management to drive best practices in software development, testing, and production deployment What you'll need: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a similar math or engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience • Demonstrated history of implementing and managing significant software development projects • 7+ years of proven Software Engineering experience delivering commercial and mission-critical software • 2+ years of experience leading teams of 5+ Engineers • Experience with designing, building and deploying scalable, highly available micro-services • Experience with Java and reputed company frameworks like Spring Boot for RESTful APIs • Experience with developing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as reputed company containers and Jenkins • Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS or similar cloud providers • Proven delivery experience working under an Agile/Scrum methodology • Proven experience in delivering end to end scalable solutions • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) • Position may include occasional travel Bonus: • Experience in e-commerce software systems • Experience working with React and Spring Boot • Experience working with Linux and Kubernetes • Experience with RDBS and noSQL databases such as SQL Server and DynamoDB • Additional languages beyond Java such as Python or JavaScript reputed company is committed to equal opportunity.
