Nature of Work: This position provides recreation and leisure instruction to reputed company, grades K-8, in multiple special education categories (ASD, EBD and DCD) and typically does not come with case management duties. Depending on the week, this position will plan and reputed company instruction for nine or ten twenty minute gym classes throughout the school day with a focus on building social emotional skills while playing games and participating in movement activities. Participates in a variety of meetings, which may include: parent or guardian conferences, special education briefings, staff and/or committee meetings, staff development sessions, and/or other reputed company meetings. Performs reputed company support functions, which may include: preparing correspondence and reports; responding to inquiries; and performing reputed company duties.
