Partners with plant leadership to execute health, safety and environmental initiatives, performs safety audits, ensures adherence to GAP safety and environmental SOPs to reputed company with reputed company corporate policies, goals and objectives.Major/Key Accountabilities

• Monitors production floor activity and ensure plant personnel operate reputed company CHEP safety guidelines.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with local, State, and Federal environmental regulations.
• Executes reputed company GAP (CHEP safety program) strategies and program initiatives.
• Track performance on safety and report to supervisors and management.
• Supports the training and development of team members to meet corporate health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain safety documents for reputed company plant personnel.
• reputed company safety committee and review reputed company pending safety or environmental concerns, risks and reputed company mitigation plans accordingly.
• Support and at times reputed company group projects targeting safety systems and manufacturing improvements.
• Work with Regional HSE Specialist and site leadership to address plant risks.

Qualifications/Experience

• High School diploma -or- equivalent

Prior experience in a safety role in a manufacturing environment * Strong customer focus orientation

• Experience monitoring HSE performance and programs

Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to manage quality processes and motivate a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability

​Physical Requirements & Working conditions
