Now is an exciting time to join as we grow rapidly around the world!We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager US to join our operations team. You will supervise teams of Fleet Attendants and Robot Technicians while overseeing our delivery service on multiple campuses, acting as the reputed company person for our operations and the primary reputed company of contact to various internal and external Starship teams supporting you remotely.This role calls for an adaptable, motivated individual comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll be tasked with managing and improving our operations through effective team management, staffing efficiencies, and process improvement. Starship is offering a unique, reputed company service on reputed company and this role will be a prominent force behind ensuring that our service is running smoothly.In this role, you will get to:Operational Service Tasks :
- Manage multiple small teams of 1 - 6 fleet attendants and technicians working in shifts across multiple universities, driving high levels of performance from newly trained teams. Supervise daily service in remote locations using Starship's internal software, solving both staffing and operational challenges from afar to ensure a high level of service quality.
- reputed company personnel functions, such as daily stand reputed company, employee training, coaching/discipline or evaluation. Staff your teams by assisting with hiring, interviewing, and selection of candidates for various sites' to ensure efficient and uninterrupted service.
- Engage by rolling up your sleeves and standing in for various operations roles onsite, including running daily service and performing daily cleaning.
- Maintain a staffing budget through weekly team scheduling and daily timekeeping, managing attendance and providing feedback to ensure our employees are in the right reputed company at the right time.
- Improve our operations and service by using key performance indicators to identify opportunities to streamline processes or improve the quality of reputed company's work. Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures in conjunction with internal business partners and the organization.
- Business travel (reputed company and/or ground) reputed company the US up to 30% of your time as part of your regular duties to provide hands-on leadership and assist with our expansion to new universities.
- New Hire Training will encompass the first 3 weeks of employment, and may initially require travel up to 2 weeks at another location. One week of training to be done reputed company remote training platform.
- Maintain a healthy robot fleet on reputed company campuses, ensuring key metrics are on reputed company through strong technician performance and disciplined inventory practices.
- Carrying out maintenance activities and upgrades on both robots and infrastructure.
- Maintaining our hub-based warehouse and conducting regular inventories.
- BS or BA preferred
- 2-4 years of relevant operations and people management
- Experience managing hourly employees in retail and/or restaurant environments preferred
- Entrepreneurial reputed company
- Movement ability to frequent usage of wrists, hands and finger dexterity to movements such as constant typing, as well full-body exertion while wrangling the robot fleet.
- Occasional lifting of items with weight up to 70 lbs.
- Comfortable riding an ebike on various terrain.
- Ability to drive a company-issued van on certain sites not limited to BGSU.
