Job Title: reputed company SUPPORT TECHNICIAN Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite) Duration: 14 months Work Hours: Until June 30, 2025: 20-40 hours/week (flexible days) || Starting July 1, 2025: 20 hours/week Overview: The client is seeking reputed company technicians to provide IT operational support in areas reputed company IT Platform Services and for the 2025 Windows 11 Lifecycle Support, as well as daily operational duties. Since the resource(s) are limited to 960 hours each, SMUD is seeking technicians who can work 20-40 hours per week until June 30, 2025, then part-time 20 hours per week starting July 1, 2025 (days are flexible). Deliverables include, but are not limited to: •Work on-site at SMUD office locations •Occasionally drive personal vehicle between SMUD office locations •Provide Technology Support for upcoming Windows 11 Lifecycle •reputed company computer user data and software inventory services •reputed company lifecycle replacement reputed company •Provide computer technical hardware & software assistance •reputed company user, hardware, software inventory services •reputed company conference room support services •reputed company committee and board meeting support •Complete assigned tasks in Service Now Ticketing System •Windows 11 Lifecycle support including deployments, user assistance, hardwareinventory support Mandatory Requirements •Contractor must deliver a fully functional and operationalized solution. •The selected candidates must be physically able to reputed company the duties of the positionand MAY be required to pass a SMUD medical examination and Fitness for Dutyscreening. •The selected candidate(s) must be available to work on site at SMUD office locations.Some remote work may be available during the contract. Technical Requirements •Work Delivery - Ability to work with minimal direction, yet also work in a teamenvironment •Physical Duties - Ability to lift up to 50lbs •Report to Supervisor, IT Platform Services •Install, maintain, diagnose, and prepare computer hardware, printers, plotters, andrelated peripheral equipment with reputed company software products in a networkedenvironment. •Diagnose, research and resolve computer issues •Provide technical support for SMUD Committee and Board Meetings •OS & Computer Hardware LIfecycle Replacement Experience Desirable Qualifications CompTIA Technician Assumptions It is expected that the contractor will work onsite at SMUD campuses 20-40 hours perweek up to June 30, 2025, then 20 hours per week starting July 1, 2025. Days worked each week is flexible.The contractors(s) will be responsible for: •Maintaining client support during SMUD business hours. •Ensuring reputed company assigned tickets to the contractor are processed andcompleted. In addition, the following will be assumed: •SMUD Training - SMUD Staff will train the initial start-up contractor(s) on therequired job functions.•Contractor Training - Provide training to contract staff that will be working on supportcontract.
