Submit an application here at GovernmentJobs.com Job Title OPS Print Services Assistant Salary $15.00 Hourly Job Type OPS - Session Location Tallahassee, Florida Office H Office of the Clerk General Summary The Office of the Clerk is accepting applications for an OPS Print Services Assistant. This is full-time temporary employment during the legislative session(March 4 through May 2, 2025). Essential Duties/Responsibilities This is work, under the direct supervision of the manager of the House print shop and duplicating office which supports the day-to-day operations of the House. An employee in a position allocated to this class is responsible for support of the team in duplicating, printing and documents and distribution. Examples of Work Performed ? Prepare projects for duplicating and printing. ? Operates duplicating equipment. (Prisma Software,.PDF) ? Operates a book binder, commercial folder, and paper cutter. ? Works with the public in a main reception area to include greeting, taking orders, and filling requests. ? Must be willing and able to work some late nights, weekends, and early mornings based on the demands of the office. ? Must be able to regularly lift and stack up to 50 pound boxes. ? Uses basic computer skills to locate files, website material, and uploading documents. ? Performs other related duties as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ? Ability to follow office procedures and practices. ? Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. ? Ability to work cooperatively as a team member. ? Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments. ? Ability to determine work priorities, assign work, and ensure proper completion of work assignments. ? Ability to review work for accuracy, quality, and timeliness. ? Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques. ? Ability to make decisions in a timely manner. ? Ability to work independently. ? Ability to supervise/manage people. ? Ability to develop various reports. ? Ability to recognize dangerous or potentially dangerous situations.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or its equivalent and two years of work experience including but not limited to clerical, service maintenance, carpentry, or security operations. Appropriate work attire is required.
