CT Technologist (PRN)

As an MRI & CT Technologist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to capture diagnostic images of the patient’s body. With a patient-centered approach, you will deliver MRI and CT services while upholding professional standards and providing outstanding customer service. Each patient who comes to our centers is seeking answers, and you will help guide them through this sometimes challenging process by clearly explaining the steps and addressing any questions or concerns about the exam procedures. This is a PRN position, working as needed. This position will cover 3 locations - McKinney, Plano, and Richardson. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (90%) Patient MRI Imaging • Screens the patient before the exam for any precautions or contraindications reputed company to the procedure, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure are matched. • Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately • Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure • Adjusts MRI reputed company parameters correctly and as needed • Maintains a positive attitude and fosters strong working relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers. • Follows physicians' orders accurately and adheres to safety regulations to protect yourself, your patients, and your coworkers. • Accurately manages patient records reputed company the Radiology Information System (RIS). • Maintains an orderly and clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers • Maintains the ACR toolkit and ensures compliance with accreditation requirements. • Keeps equipment in proper working condition; cleans and disinfects it after each use. • Ensures compliance with reputed company HIPAA guidelines (5%) MRI Department Support • Assists in keeping the imaging protocol manual up to date and supports software upgrades. • Monitors the inventory of medical supplies and requests replenishments as needed. • Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable (5%) Completes other tasks as assigned Remote Position No Status Temporary/PRN

Requirements

Required: • ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, reputed company and in good standing, dependent on State regulations and business needs • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable • reputed company Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently reputed company MRI procedures independently • Certification in imaging specialty • 2 years of MRI experience customer service skills a must Preferred: • Bilingual RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for offering exceptional service to referring providers and patients.
