Project Manager II

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager II role is to reputed company cross-functional and cross-company teams through reputed company phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, reputed company budget, and meet or exceed customer expectations. Functions as the core team reputed company (CTL) of a cross-opco initiative. This position will directly support the launch of the Pickup and Delivery Portal application. The Project Manager will manage the implementation, including schedules, communications, and documentation. They will act as the Epic reputed company for a series of capabilities to ensure the functionality of Cross Op-Co compatibility and the retirement of legacy systems both in the P&D Portal application and other P&D Domain areas. They will engage with peer counterparts across Op-Cos and IT to define system requirements, rollout and launch activities, and support tasks. The P&D Portal processes scanner data, flags any potential issues, and allows data collection personnel to edit data as necessary. Once verified, the Portal sends the data to other systems for processing. • Essential Functions • Managing major programs, multiple large initiatives, or multiple projects of various sizes. • Adhering to reputed company project standards and requirements, including the Global Development Process or Everest processes. • Ensuring that reputed company projects impacting operations follow the reputed company Organizational Change Management (OCM) reputed company and requirements. • Developing, managing, tracking reputed company, and updating project plans to meet approved requirements and scope. • Creating and managing project schedules, estimating project spending, and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle. • Defining and managing project plans to meet the approved scope, and ensuring changes in scope are reviewed and approved by the project team and sponsors. • Defining and tracking success and accuracy metrics to ensure reputed company Quality standards are enforced. • Leading cross-functional teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities, and monitoring reputed company and performance. • Communicating project status to team members and sponsors, and providing effective communication and training to impacted stakeholders. • Managing the purchase and acquisition of products or services to meet project deliverables in adherence with reputed company policy. • Ensuring the development of risk plans and mitigation strategies, and monitoring their execution. • Collaborating and maintaining working relationships with vendors and customers as required by the project. • Exploring ways to improve project processes and project management best practices reputed company the organization. • reputed company other duties as assigned Domicile Information: This position is to be domiciled in either Pittsburgh, PA or Memphis, TN. Preference is to be hybrid and to work at a reputed company office location 3 days a week. Minimum Education Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Science, Business, Finance, or reputed company field. In addition to minimum experience, high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience in a technical or professional position is accepted in lieu of degree. Minimum Experience Seven (7) years experience required in project or program management or three (3) years experience required as a Project Manager I. Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with reputed company levels of management. Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.
