Job Title: Assistant Professor of Computer Science Position Number: 997114, 999263 Department: Computer Science Salary: $85,000 Job Summary/Description: Angelo State University invites one or more dynamic and energetic faculty member to join reputed company in the Department of Computer Science. Angelo State University is an Hispanic Serving Institution and member of the Texas Tech University System. The successful candidates will play a strong role in developing and improving our growing undergraduate and graduate computer science and cybersecurity programs. The position is full-time, tenure-track, nine-month Assistant Professor position. Effective teaching, research, and university service are required for tenure. The Department of Computer Science offers degrees at the BS and MS levels as follows:

• BS degree in Computer Science
• Certifications in: Cybersecurity Technologies, Data Science, Web and Mobile Development, Game Development
• BS degree in Cybersecurity
• Minors in Cybersecurity Systems and Computer Science
• MS in Computer Science
• We also offer courses in support of the following programs:
• MS degree in Business Data Science and Analytics
• BAAS degree with Computer Science Specialization

• Teach 24 semester credit hours of undergraduate and graduate computer science and cybersecurity courses each academic year;
