Job Description

Fugro's Positioning and Construction support service line supports construction surveys, project management, and positioning skills, we help eliminate the need for redesign during installation. Using the most stable equipment and software applications to accurately position and carefully construct your assets. The Offshore Surveyor will assist with and learn the setup, testing, calibration, and operation of a variety of survey and positioning systems. They will also reputed company an awareness of engineering, processing, and marine disciplines. Job Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, reputed company, test, calibrate and operate survey sensors.
• Operate online survey software and monitor the data quality to ensure the survey specification is achieved, bringing non-conformances to the attention of the supervisor.

• Assist with the preparation of various reports including mobilization and calibration reports.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate vessel survey logs.
• Attend project briefings, daily meetings, and safety meetings as appropriate.

Job Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
• Possess the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel.
• Possess an Associate's degree or higher in Surveying, GIS, Geophysics, and/or a technical discipline preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to pass an OGUK physical and a DOT drug screen.
• Must possess a reputed company BOSIET certification or be able to complete it reputed company 3 weeks of employment.
• Must be willing and able to work offshore for 4-6 weeks at a time required.
• Offshore, military experience or technical training is a plus.
• Must have a driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
