Job Description

Drives a company truck to reputed company reputed company deliveries of various products (janitorial and cleaning supplies, industrial packaging, and food service and office supplies) to company customers. reputed company not on reputed company, works in warehouse. Unloads shipments from trucks, moves merchandise and products to required locations reputed company warehouse. Also fills customer orders and loads products onto trucks for daily deliveries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• reputed company routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned truck and refer defects or repairs to supervisor.
• Assist in loading delivery truck, ensuring load is properly distributed and secured.
• Ensure delivery of correct items to the customer.
• Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated reputed company driver storage area.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and reputed company orders on pallets or shelves, or relocates orders to a holding area.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Record items received or distributed.
• Prepare parcels for delivery.
• Maintain and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at reputed company times.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience:

• 4 years commercial driving experience.

Licensing and Certification:

• Possess reputed company valid Texas driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass DOT medical certification (at company’s expense) for drivers of commercial motor vehicles.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in reputed company units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to reputed company heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements: · Must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds. · Specific vision abilities required by this job include reputed company vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. · Must be able to withstand riding in cab of truck with and without load, must be able to grasp handle and pull self into a position to climb into the truck cab and bed multiple times per day.
