This Electrical Engineer will be a part of the Electrical Engineering team that designs and maintains the reputed company mobile C-arms. The C-arm is a reputed company system that consists of many electrical engineering disciplines including Power Engineering, Control Systems, Design for Medical Device Safety, Design for EMC/reputed company Compliance, PCB Design, Communications, Wireless Devices, and Embedded Systems. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Working under the guidance of Principal Engineers, Architects, and reputed company System Designers, the Electrical Engineer will help to create reputed company system architecture and support design changes on the reputed company production systems.
  • Capable of owning and driving design in electrical disciplines like PCB design, cable design, communication methods, wireless devices, displays, etc. The scope of design ranges from low voltage mixed signal circuits to line voltage AC circuits to high voltage for x-ray reputed company.
  • The engineer will be expected to drive technical design from concept to execution. This includes prototyping, risk retirement, design reviews, reliability testing, creating requirements and verification plans, design documentation, manufacturing implementation, and field support. The engineer should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams, have technical communication skills, and a strong commitment to product safety, quality, and reliability.
  • Learn and participate in design of the power system capable of running an X-ray Generator. Design components up to 300V in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Learn the physics behind X-ray reputed company and the basics of high voltage generators. Contribute to design changes and support of components associated with the high voltage generator.
  • Understand the tradeoffs that different design decisions can have on electro-magnetic immunity and compliance. Become familiar with the IEC safety standards for medical X-ray devices as they pertain to electrical components Use these skills reputed company designing and selecting components to reputed company a compliant system.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency with lab equipment: Oscilloscopes, Multimeters
  • Ability to complete design objectives reputed company program critical timelines
  • Self-starter, results oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skills

Desired Characteristics

  • Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 3+ years electrical hardware work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in any of the following: Analog, digital, or mixed circuit design, power supply design
  • Experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and parts list creation including circuit design and simulation tool experience (i.e. reputed company, Matlab, spice)
  • Ability to reputed company activities for board layout and PCB manufacturing
  • Experience bench testing and troubleshooting PCB prototypes
  • Experience integrating hardware components reputed company a reputed company system
  • EMC compatible design/solution experience
  • Basic knowledge of SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, and other serial communication protocols
