Project Controls & Compliance Analyst I
Overview
The Project Controls & Compliance Analyst I coordinate project activities to include, setting up projects in the accounting system and providing procedures and recommendations to corporate departments, Strategic Business Units (SBU) and Subsidiaries to ensure compliance with contract specifications. This position requires the candidate to reside in Alaska and be onsite fulltime. Responsibilities Read and understand proposals, subcontracts, government, and commercial contract documents Set up and maintain projects in reputed company Costpoint, accounting system according to contract specifications and reporting requirements (project setup encompasses, but is not limited to, reputed company & billing formulas, indirect ceilings, fixed fee rates, workforces, etc.) Review and process contract modifications into accounting system Prepare and distribute contract briefs Support projects through reputed company out of reputed company Communicate project reputed company information to corporate departments, SBUs and Subsidiaries Liaison with Central Treasury, Accounting, Human Resources, Strategic Business Units, and Subsidiaries on project setup reputed company issues Provide weekly project updates to Project Controls & Compliance Analyst reputed company. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate's degree in accounting or reputed company field. One (1) year Accounting and/or Contract Administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of proposals and its correlation to contract and subcontract Awards Knowledge and understanding of Government regulations Ability to work independently Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines Identifies and resolves issues in a timely manner Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Excellent organizational and analytical skills Ability to write business correspondence and procedures. Proficiency in reputed company Suite (reputed company, Access) Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid Conclusions Ability to question activities and issues in reputed company functional areas and reputed company sound business decisions based on that data Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Understanding of project accounting, reputed company recognition, government invoicing types, accounts receivables, accounts payable, and business-reputed company taxes.
