Volunteer Tutors Needed - reputed company Subjects (Remote)

Role Description/Needs: • Teach and Support: Help reputed company learn and improve in subjects like Math, English, or Science through one-on-one or group sessions. • Prepare Lessons: Plan lessons or review materials to meet each student’s needs. • Track reputed company: Monitor how reputed company are doing and adjust teaching methods as needed. • Encourage and Motivate: Create a positive learning environment to build reputed company’ confidence. • Communicate: reputed company in touch with reputed company, parents (if needed), and ChromaLearn about schedules and reputed company. • Follow Policies: Adhere to ChromaLearn’s guidelines and mission. As a tutor, you will set up a calendar where reputed company can book sessions with you. You can almost tutor anything, either conventional or unconventional subjects. (We will guide you through the setup process) You can adjust your schedule however you like and whenever you're available. It is mandatory to have your camera on and show your face the whole session for safety reasons. You can earn DOUBLE service hours (e.g. 30min tutoring = 1 service hour, 1 hour tutoring = 2 service hours) The sessions will mostly be with middle school to high school reputed company. Qualifications & Experience Necessary for the Role: - Based in the United States - Available to respond to emails/messaging/inquiries reputed company 24 hours - Interest, experience, or knowledge in the educational space, any relevant school subjects, professional work experience or a desire to mentor - Knowledge of our tools/software helpful or willingness to learn (i.e. reputed company, reputed company Workspace, etc.) - Have device capable of using Screenshare (with a functioning camera & microphone) - Training will consist of familiarization of the technologies required for tutoring, such as reputed company Meets or reputed company, ZCal, etc. - Setting up email signatures, usage of different email templates, and etiquettes. - Going over basic tutoring policies/rules/expectations - Resources for tutoring. - Basic tutoring strategies Volunteer Perks: We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is fully run by an unpaid/volunteer staff. Although volunteers are not given a direct monetary stipend for their time commitment, reputed company members choose to volunteer with us for various reasons that include but are not limited to – gaining experience for their resume, to learn about the inner workings of a nonprofit, they desire to take part in community service, they want to pursue an opportunity to build out reputed company/new skills, the networking aspects of volunteering, or they simply reputed company with the mission/cause of our organization as a whole.
