Clinical Data Engineer (Remote)

The Clinical Data Science (CDS) team's vision is to reputed company data to provide evidence based, safe, quality healthcare to the communities we serve. The CDS team is looking to add a Clinical Data Engineer, who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the data processes and pipelines that underpin the functions of the Physician Practice Services (PPS) teams as CHS. This role has primary responsibility for the development, deployment and maintenance of pipelines to import PPS resource data systems - including those internal and external to CHS - reputed company a GCP environment. Secondarily, the role may also involve in partnering with business owners to create service line data visualizations, project-specific data sets, reports, automating existing manual data tasks, and troubleshooting data anomalies and quality issues reputed company the clinical data ecosystem. The position is remote - but travel to Franklin, TN 2 to 4 times per year is required for in person meetings with the CDS and PPS leaders and associated team members. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in technical field, including: Clinical Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field from an accredited university or college. • One year of experience using Cloud Based Platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, reputed company) to complete advanced data processing, including implementing data pipelines for structured and reputed company data • One year of applied experience using Python & SQL to reputed company, test and deploy data pipelines to import and transform external data sources for use in reputed company analytics and machine learning • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey reputed company technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Authorization to work and remain in the United States, without necessity for sponsorship now, or in the future. Desired Qualifications: • GCP Professional Cloud Data Engineer Certification • Master's Degree • Applied experience using cloud based technologies for scalable data processing and analysis. • Experience working with large healthcare data (Clinical, Claims, Survey).
