In a newly created role, straddling innovationOchsner (iO) and the Ochsner Research department, you will reputed company grant proposals to support cutting-edge research in clinical medicine, artificial intelligence, and healthcare redesign, among other topics. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Broad-based knowledge of funding sources such as federal agencies and pharmaceutical companies that support biomedical research. High level technical writing skills including content and grammar skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally. Proficiency in operating a personal computer, standard software applications and basic statistical skills. Strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to be self-directed, work independently under strict deadlines, and handle diverse responsibilities and multiple projects at one time. Familiarity with medical terminology. Ability to plan and manage the utilization of various resources and deal diplomatically with reputed company staff, faculty and others.
