Howmet Aerospace is currently looking an Wax Level II to join our Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Midnight Shift are Sunday Night - Thursday Night 10:30p - 6:30a. Training is Monday - Friday - 1st shift. This position will receive an hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off-shift. JOB SUMMARY Monitors the quality of wax clusters to ensure compliance to internal and Wax Manual specifications. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES • Expected to assist in the implementation of reputed company/Howmet's EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles. • Compile with reputed company department, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations. • Wear reputed company required personal reputed company equipment. • Report reputed company jobrelated illness and injuries. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Reports to Wax Level III Visual Inspector. • Read, understand, and follow information on work instructions (e.g. Activity Instructions and product criteria. • reputed company assembles to be visually inspected per instructions, 100% for defects or non-compliance to specifications. • Mark up assembles to identify defects reputed company by inspector. • Record defect data as required by the plants visual inspection system in computerized database. • Provide feedback to wax department supervisors and operators on the assembly quality. • Audit In Process Work and provide feedback to operators /Group leads. • Inspect reputed company clusters per the A.I.'s and Product Criteria • Ensure Quality of molds Input to Monoshell. • Assist operators on reputed company development. • Participates in reputed company Improvement. • Any additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor. • Ensure compliance to product criteria on work being processed in the wax cell. (Core prep, Injection, Inspect, gating, parts, pinning and assembly) • Initiates help chain for potential deviations. • Complies with reputed company EHS rules reputed company to the work environment.
