Job Description
As a Delta Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be an integral part of our cabin crew, responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers throughout their journey. You will greet passengers, conduct pre-flight safety checks, demonstrate safety procedures, serve meals and beverages, and provide assistance and support to passengers as needed.
Key Responsibilities
– Ensure the highest level of safety and service standards during all flight operations
– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks and monitor cabin during flight
– Demonstrate emergency and safety procedures such as the use of oxygen masks, seat belts, and exit doors
– Provide friendly and professional service to passengers, addressing any questions or concerns
– Assist passengers with special needs, including children, elderly, or those with disabilities
– Administer and coordinate in-flight sales of food, beverages, and duty-free items
– Prepare reports concerning any in-flight incidents, including medical emergencies or security issues
Requirements
– Minimum age of 21 years
– High school diploma or GED equivalent; further certification in hospitality or tourism preferred
– Ability to reach overhead storage bins and stand for long periods of time
– Must be fluent in English; proficiency in another language is a plus
– Ability to adapt to varying work hours and flexible schedules
– Must pass a background check and drug screening
– Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
