Job Description:
The Class B CDL Driver – Hazardous Waste is responsible for the transportation of hazardous waste from a generator/facility to a plant, transfer station, recycling center or disposal site, in compliance with DOT and HAZMAT regulations. The role involves maintaining a strong safety and compliance record and providing incredibly high levels of service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
– Ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations for transport and disposal of hazardous materials
– Operate vehicle in accordance with Waste Management Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA and DOT
– reputed company pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks using standard DVIR
– Immediately report reputed company unsafe situations or service-reputed company issues to reputed company Manager or reputed company
– Attend and participate in training programs, briefings, and meetings as required
Requirements:
– Must be at least 21 years of age
– Legally eligible to work in the United States
– A valid Class B CDL with reputed company brakes endorsement
– Ability to pass a background reputed company and drug test
– Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) laws and regulations
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or GED
– Completion of an accredited driving school, or one or more years of Commercial Driving experience preferred
Experience:
– Minimum one year of prior commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience
– Previous hazardous waste experience is a plus
