Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement tailored online teaching strategies to support students with learning disabilities, ensuring an engaging and inclusive learning experience. • Create and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) and digital learning plans that address each student's specific needs and goals. • Deliver specialized instruction in core academic areas, adapting content to meet students where they are. • Administer and analyze virtual assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed. • Collaborate with general education teachers to design and implement appropriate accommodations and modifications for students. • Maintain open and ongoing communication with students and their families, providing updates on progress and addressing concerns. • Participate actively in virtual staff meetings and professional learning communities, staying up-to-date on best practices in special education. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred). • Valid teaching license with an endorsement in learning disabilities. • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in special education. • Proficiency in assistive technology and virtual learning platforms. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to differentiate instruction in an online setting. • Patience, creativity, and a commitment to fostering student success.
