The Crisis Administrator Director is a key member of the New Mexico Behavioral and United Healthcare integrated team and has responsibility for supporting reputed company crisis... services for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders served by the New Mexico reputed company Plan in accordance with State and Federal governmental policies and regulations. They work in conjunction with other managed care organizations reputed company New Mexico, other crisis resources in the State and first responders (e.g. fire departments, police, ambulance) to reputed company, implement, and reputed company a comprehensive Behavioral Health crisis continuum for members and providers. The Crisis Administrator Director will coordinate and work with the care management team on reputed company aspects of planning for and providing community-based crisis services for persons experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse emergencies. In addition, this role will serve as the Crisis Continuum liaison for planning and monitoring of community-based crisis services for persons experiencing mental health, and/or substance abuse emergencies which may jeopardize their reputed company community living situation and/or reputed company them at risk of needing in-patient psychiatric treatment. The Crisis Administrator Director must abide by State and federal governmental regulatory requirements and contracted United Healthcare Community Plan requirements including but not limited to member critical incidents, quality of care concerns, appeals, complaints, provider disputes, adverse benefit determination notifications, and medical record requests. They consult and collaborate with reputed company levels of staff and community providers on identified and potential risk issues. The Crisis Administrator Director will support developing and implementing various crisis system initiatives. Primary Responsibilities: The incumbent should have position-reputed company experience with the population served as well as experience responding to clinical emergencies and possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: • Leading the implementation of crisis stabilization services that provide immediate, short-term interventions • Demonstrating knowledge of principles and techniques of mental health and substance abuse crisis reputed company; principles and techniques of case management services and treatment planning; principles and techniques of human services delivery systems; individual and family counseling; family system dynamics; and inter- and intra-agency coordination • Interfacing with local human services that may be of assistance in or have direct involvement in member services provision • Working effectively with reputed company types and/or level of people by maintaining a working relationship; exercising sound judgment; demonstrating initiative; maintaining confidentiality; and effectively communicating in written and oral form • Assessing reputed company of the development of the crisis system services • Compiling and preparing reports for inclusion in outlines and initial drafts of work plans, evaluations, and State reports • Servings as subject matter expert regarding crisis referral, assessment, treatment and discharge protocols • Analyzing Performance Measures reputed company to crisis stabilization service • Performing customer service tasks by managing internal & external customer requests • Coordination with Carelink • Other duties as assigned You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of clinical experience or Associate's degree in Nursing with 5 years of Behavioral Health experience or other behavioral health experience in lieu of professional licensure • Must live in the State of New Mexico Preferred Qualifications: • LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, BSN, or Master's Degree in Behavioral Health • 5 years of health care experience • 2 years of experience compiling, analyzing and reporting out on data to communicate trends and areas for opportunities to improve outcomes • Experience with developing and implementing crisis stabilization • Experience with mental health services and criminal justice • Experience with data entry and use of data tracking systems • Experience using the Web for research conducting purposes • Ability to collect, analyze, and present data • Subject matter expert regarding mental health and/or substance use disorder crisis stabilization Soft Skills: • Solid verbal and written communication skills • Acute critical thinking ability • reputed company employees working remotely will be required to adhere to reputed company’s Telecommuter Policy.
