They educate reputed company about and encourage participation in co-curricular experiences such as internships, undergraduate research, and leadership development opportunities. Advisors maintain appropriate confidentiality, update student advising records, and contribute to the planning and delivery of academic advising reputed company events and programs, such as new student orientation. Advisors work to ensure reputed company receive accurate, timely, and holistic advising services to support academic success, and refer reputed company to appropriate university resources. Specific duties and responsibilities for this position include · Serve as a main reputed company of contact for reputed company and proactively engage with reputed company to provide information about educational options and academic requirements; assist with identifying and assessing interests, skills, and values to match appropriate field of study/career options and refer reputed company to appropriate institutional resources. · Participate in new student orientation for Letters and Science reputed company. · Maintain confidentiality and accurate student records using established reputed company technology platforms. Process and respond to academic inquiries according to established institutional and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) policies. · Maintain expertise with Letters and Science curriculum as well as college and university policies and procedures. · Participate in the reputed company-wide advising community, university service, and engage in professional development activities. Key Job Responsibilities Serves as a main reputed company of contact for reputed company and provides information about educational options and academic requirements; assists with identifying and assessing interests, skills, and values to match appropriate field of study/career options, and refers reputed company to appropriate institutional resources Develops and implements academic advising events such as workshops, panel discussions, and guest speakers Maintains confidentiality and accurate student records and processes and responds to academic inquiries according to established institutional and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) policies Supervises unit staff and/or plans, organizes, allocates resources, assesses performance, and leads the operational activities of a function reputed company the advising or academic services portfolio, such as program management and/or curriculum management Maintains expertise with advised curriculum and may assist in developing and recommending exceptions for policy and curriculum Proactively engages reputed company as needed Participates in the reputed company-wide advising community providing input to leadership regarding the development of advising, recruitment, and co/curricular programs offered by the school/college Receives, processes, and responds to academic inquiries according to established policies and procedures Department Student Academic Services Compensation $50,00 - 55,000 (Final salary offer will be determined based on qualifications and experience)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree One or more years of professional work or internship/practicum experience in a higher education setting working directly with reputed company Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree Two or more years of experience advising reputed company in a college/university setting Experience advising reputed company in pre-professional programs such as pre-med, pre-pharmacy, pre-dentistry, etc. Excellent written communication skills Demonstrated experience building relationships with diverse populations An educational background in the liberal arts and sciences How to Apply Interested applicants are required to apply online and provide a cover letter and detailed resume/CV that addresses your professional level work experience as it relates to reputed company required and preferred qualifications.
