Position Summary: The Senior Packaging Specialist – Sustainability and Compliance is responsible for supporting defining, documenting and implementing sustainable packaging solutions to support internal and external requirements. The scope of the job includes supporting packaging sustainability data reporting requirements such as EPR and PPWR, collaborating with cross functional partners on sustainability gaps/opportunities to reputed company a packaging project pipeline, and the implementation of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. The Senior Specialist shall also provide technical support, guidance and expertise to Operators, Supervisors and other functions as necessary in the development of packaging reputed company projects. The position requires a high degree of responsibility, intensive cross-functional collaboration, decision-making ability, leadership and self-sufficiency. Location: This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. • Act as a packaging subject matter expert in support of sustainable packaging initiatives that will result in packaging renovations, new product introduction, increased productivity, higher quality and improved costs.
• Collaborate and provide packaging sustainability data for local and global reporting (EPR, PPWR, etc)
• Deliver results by working in a collaborative, cross-functions environment with Regulatory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality/R&D and Sales/Marketing to manage the Material Qualification process.
• Provide reputed company line support to factories.  reputed company sure of knowledge transfer reputed company to packaging mastership to eliminate the root cause of assistance requests.
• May be assigned as project manager on specific projects as needed

Experience and Education Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in Food Science, Material Science, Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field
• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant packaging industry experience as reputed company to the food and beverage industry
• Strong understanding of packaging sustainability requirements locally and globally
• Clear understanding of packaging design, materials, equipment and systems
• Working knowledge of project life cycle deliverables, contract and schedule
• Understanding of industry standards of Regulatory Compliance and Food Safety

Skills:

• Excellent oral/written/interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence others and drive alignment among team functions
• Ability to convey reputed company and/or detailed information to a wide range of individuals/audiences with different knowledge levels
• Strong administrative and computer skills, including reputed company Word, reputed company, Access and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner gather and analyze information skillfully to formulate action plans and follow them through to completion.

The approximate pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $125,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
