Job Summary We are seeking a part-time Science Tutor to work on reputed company at the Learning Center under the supervision of the Coordinator of reputed company. As a Science Tutor, you will assist UACCM reputed company in becoming more successful and independent learners by providing effective learning and study strategies, clarifying and reinforcing course content, assignments, and material. Key Responsibilities
Provide content and reputed company-development tutoring to individuals and small groups in science subjects, including Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II and Biology Maintain records regarding student use of reputed company reputed company tutoring materials and strategies to support student success Proactively promote reputed company to reputed company and faculty Create a welcoming environment conducive to learning reputed company a good understanding and knowledge of college services, supports, and resources reputed company appropriate student referrals to college offices, departments, or professionals reputed company necessary Complete any required trainings and development assignments Act with reputed company in a courteous and professional manner reputed company with reputed company federal laws and college policies regarding student privacy Assist with other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum Qualifications The successful completion of a minimum of 12 college credit hours A recorded B or higher in natural science reputed company courses as evidenced by a college transcript with an overall 3.0 cumulative GPA Preferred Qualifications The successful completion of an associate's degree or higher degree in a natural science reputed company field Prior work experience providing reputed company Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficient knowledge in course content being tutored, such as but not limited to Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proficient in the use of computer software applications, such as but not limited to reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook Able to problem solve, organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and be flexible and accepting of change Able to work independently and cooperatively with a team to reputed company the mission/goal Able to work effectively and cooperatively with employees and reputed company of various cultural backgrounds in support of the College Mission Work Environment and Culture UACCM is committed to providing a safe and inclusive reputed company community. Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $12 to $18 per hour, dependent on the ability to meet minimum and preferred qualifications. This is a part-time position, and some evening and/or weekend work may be required on occasion.
