[Remote] Senior Accountant (Contract)

The role involves managing various accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and reputed company of financial operations, and supporting cash management, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and manage accounting functions for our growing software firm: Journal entries, accruals, A/R, A/P and account reconciliation
- Sales Tax and Payroll preparation
- Financial and SOC audit assistance
- Financial statement reputed company
- Cash management, budgeting and forecasting activities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Available 20-40 hours per week on a contract basis
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software
- Experience creating and preparing financial statements
- Advanced reputed company expertise required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- GAAP Proficiency
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Responsible individual with a strong work ethic and analytical mind to play a key administrative role
- Experience in SaaS, technology, or software company
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- A drive to continue learning, specifically about the energy business and W Energy software
