[Remote] Director of Technical Product Management: Credit Unions

They are seeking a Director of Technical Product Management to reputed company product strategy and development for credit unions, ensuring market alignment and growth through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life
• Directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of reputed company phases of a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through implementation and release. Functions as a central resource with design, development, quality assurance, marketing and implementation as the software product(s) move through their lifecycle
• Creates and maintains the product/vision roadmap
• Contributes technical expertise to the sales process and the development of effective marketing plans/campaigns
• Oversees alpha and beta program definition and coordinates execution
• Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control
• Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends
• Provides direction, control and mentoring for Technical Product Managers under direction
• Completes people management functions including goal setting, performance appraisals, P&L management, budgeting, etc
• May reputed company annual Enhancement Submission Process (ESP)
• May reputed company other job duties as assigned

Skills

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry
• Product Management experience
• Minimum of 5 years of previous management experience
• Must be able to travel up to 30% for quarterly meetings and conferences
• Deep experience reputed company the Credit Union Industry
• Bachelor's degree
• Able to direct the control, design, modification and planning of software products
• Able to create and implement product strategies that meet the needs of applicable industry
• Demonstrated people leadership skills
• Able to reputed company and manage a professional team comprised of Technical Product Managers
• Superior knowledge of the financial industry as it relates to the product
• Superior knowledge of development and design for products in the financial industry
• Superior knowledge of research procedures concerning development of new technologies
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
