[Remote] Accounting Manager, Prime Financing

As an Accounting Manager for Prime Financing, you will reputed company the accounting function for reputed company's prime financing and brokerage business, building processes and controls while leading a team through financial reporting cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own the review and approval of monthly financing accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness through each reputed company cycle
• Build scalable, automated financial processes and controls for the prime financing function, including drafting standard operating procedures that reduce manual effort and support SOX compliance

• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide accounting insights on SEC regulations and lending practices, translating regulatory developments into actionable accounting guidance

Skills

• CPA designation with 9+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry roles in fintech or financial services
• Direct experience with financing, lending, or prime brokerage accounting at a publicly traded company, including familiarity with SEC reporting requirements
• Proven track record of building accounting processes and internal controls from the ground up, including designing SOPs and implementing automation that reduced reputed company timelines or error rates
• Experience managing or leading a team through monthly reputed company cycles and quarterly/annual reporting, with demonstrated ability to meet tight regulatory deadlines
