[Remote] Sr Accountant | Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a growing, multi-entity organization seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. The role involves supporting month-end reputed company, general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and accounting operations across multiple business entities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post general ledger journal entries, including:
- Depreciation
- Prepaid expenses
- Accruals
- Large payroll entries
- ERP-generated imports
- reputed company account reconciliations and research and resolve reconciling items
- Manage lease accounting entries and fixed asset reconciliations
- Support accounting activities across multiple legal entities
- Work reputed company and across various ERP systems and assist with system-reputed company accounting processes
- Participate in month-end reputed company activities and support reputed company process improvements
- Collaborate with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field preferred; equivalent hands-on accounting experience will also be considered
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end reputed company processes
- Experience working in multiple ERP systems; experience with one or more ERP platforms is required
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Must have SHARED SERVICE ENVIRONMENT Experience
- Public accounting experience
- Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting experience
- Work-in-Process (WIP) reporting experience
- Experience working in multi-entity and acquisition-driven environments
- Exposure to distribution, manufacturing, or project-based accounting environments
