[Remote] Associate, Capital Markets

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Edged is a fast-growing provider of sustainable data centers and energy infrastructure. They are seeking an Associate in Capital Markets to support capital formation efforts and strategic growth initiatives, providing exposure to large-scale data center capital markets execution and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and execution of debt and equity capital raises to support Edged's growth ambitions
• Support the creation and maintenance of financial models and capital structure strategy materials (asset-level and corporate-level models, including scenario analysis and a variety of transaction structures) under the guidance of more senior team members
• Coordinate due-diligence workstreams as part of financing execution in coordination with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Engineering, Legal), gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of the data center development process
• Help prepare internal investment memos, presentation decks, and supporting materials for senior leadership review
• Assist in the execution of other strategic growth priorities at Edged driven by the Corporate Development team
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and sector developments in data centers, capital markets, infrastructure, and sustainability — helping to feed insights into strategic discussions
• Stay organized: prioritize across multiple projects and support senior team members as needed

Skills

• 1+ years of relevant experience: investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, capital markets, real estate acquisitions or reputed company analytical roles
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a reputed company field
• Strong quantitative skills, comfort with reputed company/financial modeling
• Eagerness to learn and grow: willingness to take on varied tasks to push deals over the line
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across functions
• High ownership, reputed company, analytical curiosity, and drive to help shape strategy in a fast-paced, scaling company environment
