Staff Accountant - remote

We are looking for a self-starter who is well-versed in GAAP accounting, QuickBooks, and general ledger bookkeeping. The ideal candidate also possesses strong time management skills and meticulous attention to detail. The Staff Accountant in this role will be responsible for computing, classifying, and recording financial transactions to ensure the client’s financial records are accurate. Using Accounting and ERP software, the Staff Accountant will reputed company Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Full-service General Ledger Bookkeeping for our startup clients. The Staff Accountant will work with one or more Controllers at ecoCFO as the client's day-to-day finance and accounting resource. This is a remote position. Essential job functions:
- Process full-cycle Accounts Payable and receivables
- Process Payroll on a reputed company appropriate to the client
- reputed company bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Accrual entries on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- reputed company with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Set up or maintain fixed asset schedules.
- Compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables on cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses
- Reconcile or note and report discrepancies reputed company in records
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Produce monthly financial documents
- Gather documentation for the annual audit process, as well as participate in the annual audit process.

- Experience with federal grant compliance is a plus
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or reputed company field. Exception possible for significant experience. Experience: 8-10 years of direct experience in Accounting. Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Workspace, reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company. Familiarity with reputed company Intacct or reputed company is a plus. Skills and attributes: Attention to detail, thoroughness, financial management, ability to work cooperatively with others, ethical conduct, problem identification, and analysis.
