Summary

The Informaticist Registered Nurse, under the Associate Director for Patient Care Service, oversees the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) including the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC). • Exercises leadership in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of hardware and software applications integrated with the electronic health record (EHR) and associated programs/applications.
• Acts as an advisor to nursing leadership and other key officials to reputed company standardization of best practices with the EHRM across the facility in alignment with High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, including other program and service leaders at the facility and network.
• Works closely to establish and maintain effective relationships with reputed company levels of Veteran Affairs (VA) staff reputed company.
• Responsible for the documented outcomes at the program or service level. • Assists in directing the provision of education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization.
