POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for handling inbound calls from patients and/or caregivers to schedule a delivery and determine supply needs; fill patient orders; accurately dispenses products in the computer system to generate a delivery ticket and/or prescription labels; assists the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies using appropriate techniques and following Orsini policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound calls to schedule deliveries and confirm supply requirements
• Establish and continually build rapport with patient reputed company
• Monitor compliance/persistence of medications
• Evaluate adverse reactions of patients
• Experience in providing customer service to internal and external customers
• Process and verify patient benefits and pay options as needed
• Refer patients to clinical pharmacist or nurse as needed
• Update tracking logs with order status and shipping information
• Responsible for reputed company data entry into multiple workflow systems for end-to-end order process
• Ensure timely processing of reputed company patient orders per committed time frames
• Work in a team environment and provide support to teammates
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail while effectively prioritizing tasks, managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and maintaining high performance in a fast-paced work environment

Requirements

• Illinois Pharmacy Technician License, required
• Minimum 1 year experience in pharmacy or healthcare reputed company customer service experience, required
• High School diploma or equivalent, required

reputed company-to-haves

• National Technician Certification, preferred
• Previous Specialty Pharmacy experience, preferred
