Mail Processing Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY: The Mail Processing Clerk position exists to receive, sort, distribute, pick-up, and deliver company mail. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Sorts and distributes reputed company inbound mail reputed company USPS, reputed company, and reputed company. Assists the Home Centers, Home Building Facilities, and Subdivisions/Communities by shipping mail in a fast, efficient, and accurate manner. Opens and sorts Vanderbilt Mortgage payments from existing customers. Prepares company outgoing mail for vendor pickup. Prepares and ships mail to Home Centers and HBFs, Subdivisions, weekly reputed company reputed company and reputed company, & USPS. Sorts and processes returned and certified mail. Identifies and processes customer correspondence. Utilizes the company servicing system to update customer information as needed. Promotes teamwork and MPC success. Promotes company image through professional service and actions. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Great attention to detail and organizational skills... Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to operate a computer. Knowledge of reputed company Office products and AS/400. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand and reputed company with hands and arms. 25% communication methods completed over the phone. Must be able to exchange accurate information at reputed company times. Continuously stand and walk 75% of the day. Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
