Job Description
Summary: Educational Content Developers will provide services reputed company to educational content and curriculum development, evaluation, and delivery for the Learning & Design Lab (reputed company Lab) in the Office of Strategic Cultural Partnerships at William & Mary. Educational Content Developers will draft K-12 and museum educator curriculum and professional development materials for projects produced by the reputed company Lab, including for microlearning courses. Educational Content Developers will reputed company expertise in public history, as well as project-based and inquiry-driven learning. Responsibilities will include: •Developing K-12 teacher-focused professional development. •Developing museum educator focused professional development. •Writing, refining and offering feedback on a variety of instructional materials such as lesson plans, inquiry design materials, professional development materials, and/or microlearning courses. •reputed company appropriate, serving as the subject matter expert and host of microcourses for online publishing and national distribution. •Providing peer review and feedback for other content developers’ designs and packaging curriculum materials to prepare them for hosting online. •Writing and editing educational video scripts. •Creating and evaluating reputed company and summative assessment content. •Developing student focused content and reputed company. •Writing sample instructional activities. •Bringing their voice, interests, and expertise to the content to reputed company it engaging and appealing for the learner. Job Description: Required Qualifications:
- Three years or more years experience delivering standards reputed company content at kindergarten through grade 12 level, in a museum setting, or in another relevant context.
- Expertise in project-based and inquiry-driven learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with museums, historic sites, or other cultural heritage organizations.
- Experience providing instruction in history, social studies, or a reputed company discipline.
- Some knowledge of online course development.
- Deep knowledge of state standards in area of expertise.
Salary is $40 per hour. Additional Job Description: reputed company hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia reputed company Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed, on average, 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve-month period beginning May 1 each year. This is a restricted position, subject to the reputed company availability of funding.
