Summary: The Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at D’Youville University invites applications for a full-time, Assistant Professor of Biology. We seek student centered educators who are passionate about teaching and committed to fostering student success. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate instruction in the biological sciences. Preferred candidates will have the ability to teach in Human Anatomy & Physiology and/or Microbiology, in addition to introductory and upper-level courses reputed company with their expertise. This position offers the opportunity to participate in departmental initiatives, curriculum development, academic advising, and scholarly activity that may involve undergraduate or graduate reputed company. The department supports majors in Biology and Biochemistry, as well as provides foundational coursework for D’Youville’s numerous health science programs. Responsibilities:

• Teach a full-time course load across multiple biology subject areas and additional courses reputed company with departmental needs.

Qualifications: Education:

• A terminal degree (Ph.D.) in a biological science discipline is required.

• Experience teaching Human Anatomy & Physiology and/or Microbiology.
• Evidence of innovative, inclusive pedagogical approaches.
• Commitment to inclusivity and supporting student success.
