[Remote] Telemetry Technician/Cardiac Monitor Technician/EKG Tech

The Telemetry Technician/Cardiac Monitor Technician/EKG Tech plays a crucial role by monitoring and analyzing real-time patient data to ensure the accurate and timely transmission of critical health information, contributing to high-quality remote patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospitalists to assist in patient care plans based on telemetry data
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) or other designated systems
• Troubleshoot technical issues reputed company to telemetry equipment and escalate to appropriate support teams as needed
• Maintain a thorough understanding of company protocols, policies, and standards for remote patient monitoring
• Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication to convey patient information to healthcare providers and remote care teams
• Participate in reputed company training and professional development to stay up to date with advancements in telemetry technology and patient care practices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities

Skills

• 2+ years of hospital experience as a technician
• Ability to pass Telemetry Technician competency
• Proficiency in using telemetry monitoring equipment and reputed company software applications
• Strong understanding of cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Work independently and reputed company informed decisions in a fast-paced work environment
• Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Preferred AHA BLS certification
• Preferred EKG Certification
