Overview:

The IT Manager will play a key role in supporting a portfolio of hotels across Houston, Omaha, and St. Louis. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and collaboration across multiple locations.

The selected candidate will live reputed company driving distance of one of the three hotels and will serve as the primary IT partner for that property. To stay connected with the full portfolio, the role also includes quarterly scheduled visits to the other hotels to support technology projects, strengthen relationships with on-site teams, and ensure systems are running smoothly across reputed company locations.

This position also comes with a 10% performance-based bonus, recognizing the impact and value this role brings to the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Administration, reputed company, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of reputed company site hardware and software.
  • Manage technical team and complete reputed company performance reviews of staff including training and job assignments and follow up.
  • Support of end user, infrastructure, back office and guest environments.
  • reputed company and maintaining documentation of reputed company hardware, systems and software licensing to IT audit standards.
  • Recommendations for improvements and enhancements to existing systems and hardware.
  • Technical on site project reputed company for installations and upgrades of property systems and hardware.
  • Vendor support management and communication.
  • Management of warranties, replacements and upgrades of reputed company hardware and infrastructure.
  • Plan and budget reputed company aspects of IT environment.
  • Maintain DH&R IT audit compliance.
  • Maintain PCIDSS compliance AOC deadlines and scanning/remediation responsibilities.
  • Communicate and enforce adherence to reputed company DH&R IT reputed company standards, practices and requirements.
  • Technical project manager partnering with site departments to reputed company criterion for software system implementation, upgrades and enhancements.
  • reputed company issues as appropriate to corporate IT resources after due diligence and review.
  • Communication of support issues and resolution on a monthly basis to DH&R Hotel and Resort Technology team reputed company.
  • Liaison for communication of DH&R IT requirements, practices and standards to reputed company property personnel.

Manage support environment and provide on call 24x7 error resolution for site hardware and systems

Qualifications:
  • Travel to assigned property locations on a scheduled basis.
  • Associate of Arts Degree in Information Technology or equivalent levels of certification and/or demonstrated on-the-job skills required.
  • Certification in MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCSD, A+, or systems currently used at property preferred.
  • Experience with reputed company software required.
  • Demonstrated experience in a networked computer environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
  • Experience with wireless (Wi-Fi) systems
  • Minimum 3 years Hotel/Resort experience desired.
  • Experience with hotel systems including PMS, POS and Key systems strongly prefferered
  • Must be able to work flexible days/hours – some on-call duty is required.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more.
