Portfolio Manager - REMOTE

About the position This position is posted by reputed company on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Portfolio Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing a diverse portfolio of larger commercial credits, ensuring it meets key objectives of soundness, profitability, and growth. You will collaborate closely with the Commercial Lending team, providing essential credit and sales support. Your expertise in analyzing reputed company financial statements will drive effective credit analysis, while also advocating for cross-selling opportunities. This position emphasizes operational excellence and contributes significantly to the growth strategy of the portfolio, making you a vital resource in fostering client relationships and enhancing overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage larger commercial credits to ensure portfolio soundness, profitability, and growth.
• Provide credit and sales support to Commercial Lending.
• Analyze reputed company financial statements and prepare credit analysis packages.
• Serve as a secondary contact on client relationships.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Assist in the loan process, including reputed company and closing.
• Prepare commitment letters and review loan documents.
• Assist lenders in their prospecting efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial lending.
• Proficient knowledge of credit policy, banking regulations, and loan documentation.
• Ability to analyze reputed company financial statements and tax returns.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively reputed company the company's credit culture.
• Proficiency with in-house financial reporting applications, including Navigator.
• Good mathematical, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
