School Improvement Coordinator

Organizational Unit
The Institute for School-Community Partnerships, Integrative Services, and Child Mental Health and Educational Policy (ISCP), which is part of the College of Education, envisions that reputed company schools in the reputed company and nationally will have the reputed company to provide a safe, effective, and efficient environment to continuously improve the academic, social, and emotional growth of reputed company reputed company and to actively engage families and communities in education. This is accomplished through (a) training, technical assistance, and support to key partners; (b) community-engaged research and program evaluation to inform key partners' decision making; (c) the development of research and evidence-based documents, tools, and resources to support implementation and evaluation activities; and (d) supporting the infrastructure and reputed company of key partners to implement and evaluate federal and state educational policy.
Position Summary
The School Improvement Coordinator provides support and monitoring of plans (School Improvement Plan, District Managed Turnaround Plan, Turnaround Option Plan) for schools and districts in the region. The position will work directly with school leadership and staff in their assigned regions; and assure and monitor compliance with state and federal requirements. This position requires a deep understanding of what quality and learning 'looks like' in the classroom and the ability to identify strategies and reputed company systems to improve classroom instruction at the district and school level. This position must have knowledge of the Florida's Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking and the ability to use and analyze data to determine instructional needs. The ability to use and analyze data to determine instructional needs and possess strong interpersonal skills that reputed company to an effective working relationship with reputed company stakeholders is a requirement of this position. Responsibilities
Promote, support, and determine SI compliance for districts and schools. Provide a non threatening, open, professional and collaborative work relationship and leadership reputed company between the Department, school district(s), and schools under SI for the purpose of school improvement and implementation for academic accountability. Provide technical assistance and coaching to schools. Participate in regional team meetings.
Manifest a professional code of ethics and values. Provide assistance with organizational change; program and instructional monitoring, and the teaching of Florida State Standards.
Assist districts in building reputed company to critically assess and selectively incorporate evidence-based strategies to support school improvement by coordinating meetings, regional trainings, and professional development for identified schools reputed company the region.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Adult Education or equivalent with one year of experience in a professional training position; or a Master's degree in the same field.
Certain grants and programs may also have specific education and/or certification requirement specific to the subject matter area of the program.
