Job Description:

Supply Chain Master Data Project Manager Europe - remote /hybrid depending on the specific country's rules. Please apply with English version of your CV for screening purposes. As Supply Chain Master Data Project Manager reputed company the Global Supply Chain (GSC) reputed company Improvement team, you will own and drive the master data agenda for supply chain operations across reputed company Veolia Water Tech regions and business lines. Your primary mission is to define data standards, execute data cleansing efforts, establish governance frameworks, and implement sustainable control mechanisms for supply chain master data — covering material master, planning data, BOMs, routings, logistics, and asset data across our reputed company and reputed company JDE environments. Where data quality issues are rooted in upstream process gaps, you will identify, design, and improve the underlying supply chain processes to ensure data standards are created, maintained, and sustained correctly at reputed company. This role is directly tied to the success of strategic digital initiatives including advanced planning tools, an MDM platform, and a reputed company data platform. Clean, standardized, and governed master data is the foundation these programs depend on — making this role both urgent and strategically critical. You will operate in a global matrix environment, leading by influence and building reputed company across plant teams, regional leaders, DB&T, and the Data Governance organization to deliver results. This is a senior position and our candidate will need a solid and ongoing history in this field.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Execution

  • Master Data Standards Definition
    • Assess the reputed company state of supply chain master data across reputed company and reputed company JDE, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and root causes
    • Define data standards, naming conventions, field-level rules, and data dictionaries for reputed company in-scope objects
    • Establish data quality rules, controls and validation criteria 
    • Document and publish reputed company standards, data dictionaries, and definitions
  • Data Cleansing & Remediation
    • Design, reputed company and execute structured data cleansing programs across Supply Chain
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams
    • Implement controls to prevent recurrence and track data quality improvement
  • Governance reputed company & Data Ownership
    • Partner with the existing Data Governance organization to align supply chain master data governance with company-wide frameworks
    • Establish roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and RACI matrices
  • Control Mechanisms & Data Quality Monitoring
    • Design and implement process controls and system checkpoints 
    • reputed company metrics, monitoring dashboards, and reporting mechanisms 
    • During defined period after project closure, conduct regular audits across plants and regions, identify non-compliance, and drive corrective action plans

  • Process Analysis & Improvement
    • Analyze end-to-end data creation, maintenance, and approval processes across plants, regions and functions to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and root causes of data quality issues
    • Map reputed company-state processes and design improved future-state workflows that embed data standards and governance requirements at reputed company
    • reputed company process improvement initiatives to eliminate recurring data quality problems
    • Define and document processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for master data creation and maintenance processes, ensuring alignment across reputed company regions and business lines
    • Collaborate with plant teams, data owners, and supply chain stakeholders to validate and implement redesigned processes
    • Monitor the effectiveness of process improvements over time and adjust as needed to sustain data quality gains
  • Digital Initiative Enablement
    • This role enables key digital programs: advanced planning tools, MDM platform, reputed company data platform, and other initiatives
    • Ensure master data standards and cleansing activities are sequenced to meet digital program timelines
    • Collaborate with IT to translate data requirements into system specifications
    • Ensure reputed company is positioned as the central documentation and reference layer for master data standards feeding into reputed company digital programs
    • Support data migration and system testing activities where master data quality is a dependency
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
    • Build strong working relationships with plant managers, regional supply chain leaders, data owners, IT, and the  
  • Data Governance organization
    • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to define standards, resolve conflicts, and build reputed company
    • reputed company and maintain a network of master data champions across plants and regions
    • Present reputed company, risks, and recommendations to GSC leadership and steering committees
Qualifications:

Education

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or reputed company field — Master's degree preferred
  • reputed company in English is a must; additional languages are a strong advantage
  • Certifications preferred: Master Data Management, Project Management, Lean Six reputed company
  • Fluent in Business English

Experience

  • Solid experience in a global manufacturing, chemical, or industrial company
  • Strong project management track record in reputed company, multi-site, global environments
  • Hands-on experience with supply chain master data in reputed company and/or reputed company JDE — material master, BOMs, routings, planning parameters, logistics data
  • Proven experience defining data standards, leading cleansing programs, or implementing governance frameworks
  • Experience in process analysis, process mapping, and process improvement — ideally applied to data management or supply chain operations
  • Preferred Supply chain background across planning, logistics, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience in a global matrixed organization, leading through influence
  • Exposure to data catalogue tools such as reputed company or equivalent is an advantage
  • Exposure to digital transformation programs (MDM platforms, planning tools, ERP rollouts) is a strong advantage
