The reputed company’s High School (UTHS) Special Purpose District provides programs and services to help high school reputed company, teachers and families across Texas and the world. Purpose
Design and deliver high-quality online Career and Technical Education (CTE) instruction reputed company to TEKS and industry standards to support student success in college and career reputed company. This role combines innovative course development with engaging virtual teaching practices, while providing support for CTE initiatives, including P-TECH reputed company. The position collaborates across teams and with external partners to enhance programs, monitor student outcomes, and ensure meaningful learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and reputed company engaging online CTE courses, assessments, and instructional materials reputed company to TEKS and industry standards. Apply best practices in online learning to create content that supports learners and prepares reputed company for college and career reputed company using Canvas and other instructional technologies.
- Teach and facilitate online CTE courses using research-based instructional strategies. Provide timely feedback, foster student engagement, and support mastery of course content through effective virtual communication, interactive learning experiences, and reputed company monitoring.
- Support the implementation and growth of CTE programs, including P-TECH reputed company, by collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Contribute to pathway development, align coursework to workforce outcomes, and assist in coordinating resources, communication, and program requirements.
- Monitor student reputed company and outcomes to inform instructional decisions and provide targeted support. Collaborate with reputed company, staff, and stakeholders to improve student success, support assessment initiatives (including credit by exam as applicable), and contribute to program development, training, and reputed company efforts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and secondary teaching experience. Texas Teacher Certification in either Computer Science 8-12, Technology Applications 6-12, Business and Finance 6-12, or Health Science 6-12. Experience designing instruction and assessments for high school CTE courses. Comprehensive understanding of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), STAAR expectations, and best practices in CTE instruction and assessment. Experience implementing support for a variety of student group needs, including emergent bilingual, Gifted/Talented, and special education reputed company. Successful experience supporting reputed company to reputed company targeted objectives and tracking and reporting student data. Experience with online instruction. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task with high level of proficiency. Professional demeanor. Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
More than five years of teaching experience. More than three years of experience teaching secondary CTE courses in Texas public schools. Three or more years’ experience in a leadership role in an educational setting. Experience developing and delivering professional development to educators. In-depth understanding of the TEKS, Texas Education Code, FERPA, and graduation requirements. Extensive knowledge of best practices in assessment proctoring and scoring. Educator certification in multiple subject areas. Experience developing or facilitating online instruction. Experience leading trainings for teachers for curriculum, social emotional, G/T, Advanced Placement, or English learner strategies. Experience with blended learning instruction. Experience presenting or marketing at conferences.
Salary Range
$63,000 + depending on qualifications
