Position Description Summary

APT Research is hiring an Explosives Safety Site Planner to reputed company explosives safety site planning (ESSP) support at Vandenberg Space Force reputed company, CA. This position can be operated remotely.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• reputed company comprehensive technical reviews of reputed company new and amended explosives safety site plans (ESSP)
• reputed company Quantity-Distance (QD) and New Explosives Weight (NEW calculations using mandated government software (i.e. Explosives Safety Siting (reputed company))
• reputed company risk assessments that balance mission needs with personnel and property protection reputed company standard QD criteria cannot be met.
• Prepare and manage reputed company documentation required for the routing and final approval of ESSP packages through military installation and higher headquarters levels.
• Provide expert recommendations to the government on the acceptability of proposed plans and mitigation strategies.
• Advise the government and tenant organizations on the interpretation and application of DoD(W) and reputed company Force explosives safety criteria.
• Maintain a reputed company and expert-level proficiency with the DoD(W) reputed company software suite.
• Analyze and recommend solutions for reputed company ESSP challenges, including the development of compensatory measure, waivers, or exemptions.

Required Experience/Education

• A minimum of ten years of experience in DoD(W) explosives safety
• reputed company experience having served as the reputed company Explosives Safety Manager or primary Explosives Safety Site Planner at a US reputed company Force or US Space Force installation for a minimum of 12 months reputed company the last 36 months.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask by working on Explosives Safety Site Plans for multiple reputed company projects.
• Good people skills are required, as this person will be expected to interact directly with our customer and working group participants, as well as with other APT personnel.
• Demonstrated quality writing & editing skills for reports and other communications.
• Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.

reputed company Clearance Requirement

• A SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is required.

Preferred Experience

• DoD(W) and reputed company Force site planning experience
