The Networks group at reputed company is responsible for deploying and maintaining a global infrastructure across 130+ countries. The Server Tech Services (STS) team ensures server health and uptime through expert remote diagnostics and collaboration. We work closely with ISPs, Field Engineers and vendors to ensure optimal performance and availability.

As Associate Server Tech Services Engineer, you'll ensure the health of our server infrastructure. You will remotely diagnose and resolve hardware and Layer 1/2 network issue. You collaborate with ISPs, field technicians, and internal teams to minimize downtime and maintain platform availability.

As a Server Tech Services Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and coordinate server hardware repairs and manage hardware assets.
• Troubleshooting basic network issues (Layer 1 & 2) and escalate as needed.
• Collaborating with ISPs, vendors, and field engineers to resolve issues and return faulty equipment.
• Working closely with hardware engineering to identify recurring hardware faults.Track hardware failure trends & proactively report findings.
• Documenting operational processes and recommend improvements.
• Building expertise in reputed company's server architecture and tools.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have bachelor's degree in technology field & experience with server hardware & fault diagnosis.
• Have understanding of networking (IP, DHCP, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS) & with server components (HDD, RAM, RAID, etc.).
• Have hands-on with Linux/Unix CLI and OSI Model fundamentals.
• Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills & excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Shift coverage is for Thursday to Monday
• Able to script in Python or Perl
