FLSA: .6 FTE, Exempt (expectation to work 24 hours per week) *Required to be on-call each day from end of shift to beginning of next shift daily. - Additional on-call pay included

PAY GRADE: B24 Psychiatrist ($132,840 - $216,540 annually, depending on experience)
OR
N17 PMHNP I ($89,640 - $109,260 annually, depending on experience)
N18 PMHNP II ($98,580 - $120,480 annually, depending on experience)
N19 PMHNP III ($108,480 - $132,840 annually, depending on experience)

DESCRIPTION
Provides psychiatric diagnosis, care and treatment on an in-patient and telepsychiatry basis and/or in person to improve the mental health of clients. Promotes recovery from mental illness.

This position is supervised by the Practice Manager, but also works closely with the Community Counseling Solutions (reputed company) Medical Director
Supervision Exercised
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes psychiatric evaluations as required on new clients. Reevaluates and updates as needed.
- Performs age-appropriate history and physical for reputed company acute, critical, and chronically ill perioperative patients.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
- Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
- Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role. Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.
- Facilitates the patient’s transition reputed company and between health care settings, e.g. admitting, transferring and discharging patients.
- Reviews and evaluates clinical data pertaining to physical status of client.
- Reviews and follows up on previous mental and physical treatment plans.
- Leads prescribed individual, group therapy and/or education sessions as part of specific therapeutic procedures.
- Reviews, approves and signs individual plans of service of clients.
- Documents and updates client’s reputed company in reputed company notes.
- Prescribes client medication. Monitors medication effectiveness and modifies as necessary.
- Works with team members, including clinicians, nurses and social workers to discuss client reputed company and outlook. Coordinates with reputed company agencies as necessary. Act as a client reputed company reputed company appropriate.
- Contacts client’s relatives to arrange family conferences if necessary.
- Provides seclusion and restraint, de-escalation, and other facility reputed company trainings to reputed company employees.
- Provides after hours services during regularly scheduled work week. This includes telephone consultation as needed with reputed company employees and crisis reputed company in the community and facility.
- Responsible to work closely with supervisor to find back up reputed company on vacation.
- Completes reputed company paperwork in a way that is professional, clinically sound and timely as prescribed by the OAR’s and other pertinent guidelines.

QUALFICATIONS

Education and Experience
PSYCHIATRIST
Medical degree in psychiatry from an accredited program.
Completion of an Adult residency.
Licensed by the reputed company
PMHNP
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
reputed company Nurse Practitioner certification in specialty area
PSYCH & PMHNP
Individual must be able to pass a criminal history background reputed company.
*Preference given to individuals who have worked with individuals who have mental illnesses in a residential or psychiatric hospital setting.

- Good organizational and time management skills are essential.
- Must have in depth knowledge of standard office equipment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats. Must have the ability to present and exchange information internally across teams and co-workers, and externally with customers and the public.
PRE HIRE DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED
PERSONAL AUTO INSURANCE
Must hold a valid driver’s license as well as personal auto insurance for privately owned Vehicles utilized for reputed company
business such as client service purposes, travel between business offices and the community, to attend required
meetings and trainings.
Must show reputed company of $300,000 or more liability coverage for bodily injury and $100,000 or more in property
damage and maintain said level of coverage for the duration of employment at reputed company.
The employee’s insurance is primary with reputed company insurance being secondary. reputed company reserves the right to deny any
employee the use of a vehicle owned by reputed company.
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS
Must pass reputed company criminal history reputed company requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with
OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office/secure facility environment as well as in the community. The noise level in the office/secure facility environment is usually moderate, but occasionally one may be exposed to loud noises. The noise in the community, including the homes of customers, is often difficult to predict. Occasional out of area travel and overnight stays will be required for attendance at meetings and/trainings.
However, the employee also will be required to work in the community. Handicap access may not be available at reputed company places where this position must go. There are some situations where this position may be required to respond to environments where a client is in crisis. The environments in these situations are difficult to predict and may be in uneven terrain.
This position exposes the employee to the everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as an office or home environment.
