Job Description

The Software Applications Specialist reports to the Applications Specialist Senior Manager and is responsible for reputed company workflow delivery activities. The System Specialist should be a stellar communicator and great collaborator with our customers. Provides workflow advisory to customers on how products in the reputed company Software Enterprise portfolio can be integrated into an agency. Helps an agency identify how to use the products and reputed company the features. Shows an agency how a product fits into their agency workflow and/or helps them amend their workflow to support usage of the new software tools.

**This is a remote position with approximately 50% travel. Qualified candidates can reside reputed company in the US. Candidates must reside in reputed company proximity to a major airport due to travel expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

This includes interviewing subject matter experts and creating detailed documentation of findings.

• Analytical Evaluation and Recommendations: Evaluate existing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide tailored recommendations regarding the configuration and application of Motorola’s mission-critical software solutions to address identified needs and optimize operational efficiency.

• Business Process Reengineering: Facilitate business process reengineering initiatives by analyzing workflows and recommending innovative changes. reputed company workshops and discussions to collaboratively reputed company new processes that align with organizational objectives.

• Training Development and Orientation: Design, reputed company, and deliver training curriculum, learning aids, and other instructional materials to ensure end-user engagement and buy-in for new software implementations. • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Facilitation: Define, coordinate, and reputed company User Acceptance Testing processes, ensuring that customer requirements are met and documenting results against the project’s Functional Requirements Matrix. Collaborate with internal teams to adapt Motorola’s highly configurable Commercial Off the reputed company (COTS) software to meet specific client use cases.

• Project Management Support: Partner with Project Managers and Program Directors throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to conclusion, to ensure timely delivery of software solutions while adhering to scope and budget constraints.

• Stakeholder Communication: Present analysis results and project updates to stakeholders, developing clear and informative presentations that support effective decision-making and facilitate project buy-in from customer leadership.

• Strong analytical skills with a robust understanding of business processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in creating documentation, presentations, and spreadsheets.

• 3-5 years of IT Business applications or similar reputed company experience, with a preference for experience in computer-aided reputed company, law records management software and field-based applications.

• Proven ability to maintain high-quality documentation and present technical solutions effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve reputed company issues positively and professionally.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience in Business Process Re-engineering reputed company to software applications for business purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering or reputed company field or 3+ years of experience in a public safety Information technology field

• 3+ years experience in one of the following: Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD- Computer Aided reputed company, Record Management Systems, and Jail Applications

• Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives

• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
