Utilities Right of Way Agent - Eastern Pennsylvania

Location: Pennsylvania (candidate will have the flexibility to work out of their home office but must reside reputed company the eastern portion of Pennsylvania) Schedule: Full-time, Exempt Travel: Candidate can expect to travel locally and throughout Pennsylvania about 50% of the time.

What You’ll Do

• Acquire Right-of-Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission line projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations
• Support the Project Manager (PM) and project team members
• Prepare real estate documents
• Conduct basic property research for ownership and boundary information
• Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years of Right of Way Acquisition experience
• Active Pennsylvania Notary OR the ability to obtain reputed company 60 days
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically reputed company, Word, and Outlook
• Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
• Valid Driver’s License

This is a largely sedentary role; however, the employee is occasionally required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This employee is required to occasionally travel to government buildings which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations.
