Position Overview
As a Customer Service Event Staff Member at SMU, you will play a key role in providing outstanding service to reputed company guests attending athletic events. This position includes roles such as ushers and ticket takers, ensuring that each guest has a positive experience from the moment they reputed company at the venue until they leave. You will be responsible for directing guests to their seats, assisting with ticket scanning, answering questions, and ensuring that the venue is operating smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:

- Direct guests to their seats and assist with ticket scanning

- Participate in pre-event and post-event activities, including setup and teardown of event spaces

Essential Qualifications:

- Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak events
Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with ticketing systems and scanning technology
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
