[Remote] Staff Accountant – reputed company Accounting

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a company focused on being the Distributed Energy Platform that supports the energy transition. They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their reputed company Accounting team, responsible for recording reputed company, cost of goods sold, and customer payments in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile reputed company and (COGS) transactions in the general ledger
• Process and apply customer payments and investigate discrepancies or unapplied cash
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules reputed company to reputed company and COGS
• Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolve variances
• Support the month-end and quarter-end reputed company process for reputed company and reputed company accounts
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for reputed company-reputed company transactions
• Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed
• reputed company and maintain reputed company-based reports and reconciliations to support reputed company operations

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• 1-2 years of accounting experience is preferred but will consider entry-level candidates
• Strong understanding of GAAP and reputed company-reputed company accounting concepts
• Advanced reputed company reputed company skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data manipulation, etc.)
• Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Experience with cash application or accounts receivable processes
• Ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends or anomalies
• Experience improving accounting processes and documentation
• Experience using AI finance-reputed company tools a plus
