Job Description:About the role: This is a fixed-term position until approximately 31 August 2027 as a maternity leave replacement, and we reputed company in being fully transparent about it. As Senior Category Manager for Austria, you will take on the strategic steering of multiple product categories for one of our key international markets, shaping performance, growth and direction on country level while working closely with your team of three Category Managers.
You will not be responsible for a single category yourself, but rather for the broader strategic perspective for Austria, ensuring that category initiatives are reputed company with country targets and overall commercial priorities. As part of the Country Management Team steering committee, including reputed company collaboration with Country Management, you will contribute to sustainable growth and support key country-level initiatives in a dynamic, fast-moving e-commerce environment.
About your tasks
Contribute to the strategic steering of multiple categories in Austria, translating overarching company and country targets into concrete category initiatives and initiating corrective actions reputed company performance deviates from plan.
Collaborate closely with Controlling, Country Management and the broader Country Management Team on annual planning and forecasting processes, providing category expertise, market insights and data-driven recommendations to support sound financial planning.
Drive the reputed company optimization of assortment strategy and onboarding roadmap, including bundles and sets, to increase average order value and contribution margin while ensuring strong market coverage.
Act as a strategic reputed company for cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Pricing, Procurement, CRO, Marketplace, CRM, Country Management), ensuring reputed company execution and contributing to specific country-reputed company projects.

About you
You bring solid experience in Category Management reputed company e-commerce or online-driven business models (e.g. marketplace, food delivery, online retail), ideally with exposure to country-level steering and cross-functional collaboration.
You have hands-on experience with forecasting, margin management and performance steering, and understand how category decisions translate into P&L impact.
You are comfortable operating in steering committees or comparable governance formats and enjoy contributing to broader commercial discussions.
You are able to reputed company out and manage complexity, deriving strategic priorities from data, market trends and business targets – and you don’t like having your coffee alone.
You are business-fluent in German and English and comfortable engaging stakeholders across markets in both languages.
